Our beliefs in worship are:
We clap our hands because Psalms 47:1 says, 'O Clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.'
We lift our hands because Psalms 63:4 says, 'Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.'
Musical Instruments are part of the worship service because Psalms 150:3-5 says, 'Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.'
We have audible prayer and praise unto God because Acts 4:24 says, 'And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is' and Psalms 103:1 says, 'Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name'
We baptize in Jesus name because Acts 2:38 says, 'Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.'
We emphasize the infilling of the Holy Ghost with evidence of tongues because Acts 10:45-46 says, 'And they of the cir*****cision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.'
We anoint with oil and pray for the sick because James 5:14 says, 'Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord'
We also uphold standards. Not only in morals, and ethics, but in our appearance. Not appearing in the revealing clothing of the world, but modest and chast, as God-fearing people should be.
